Queen of the South have named Nicky Clark as player/manager as they prepare for the 2026/27 William Hill League 1 season.
Clark, who has a long association with the Dumfries side, will be assisted by his father Sandy who has departed his own role with Albion Rovers.
Sandy and Nicky both helped Queen of the South lift silverware in the 2012/13 season where they won League 1 and the Challenge Cup under Allan Johnston.
Across two spells at Palmerston Park, Nicky has made 95 appearances for Queens and scored 49 goals.
